The study selected Ed 45 ~ 110 yak embryo and Ed 20 ~ 95 Tibetan goat embryo mandible and systematically analysis hair follicle and incisor morphogenesis, camparing with Tibetan goat by stereo microscope, conventional histological section, HE and collagen staining. And the expression pattern of signaling moleculeβ-catenin and was detected by immunohistochemistry. The results showed that:1. The size and density of Yak whisker follicle show uniform discrete distribution, and there is small follicles around the arrangement of whisker hair follicles. the whisker hair follicles distribution from the upper edge of lower jaw of Tibetan goat show array, from the dense to sparse, small to large.2. Yak whisker hair follicle and other hair follicle morphogenesis are basically the same, but the whisker is earlier than the surrounding hair follicles and skin small follicles. The sheath diameterhair, bulb diameter and depth of mature whisker hair follicle were 3 to 4 times of skin hair follicles.3. Yak incisor morphogenesis through the placode, bud, cap, bell and coronal stage. Development of Tibetan goats appears vacuoles at the neck ringvacuoles at cap and bell stage , yak is no;4.β-catenin in the yak and Tibetan whisker follicle and incisor morphogenesis show the expression of a skin-based, mesenchymal supplement;β-catenin show high expression both in epithelial department at the early stages of hair follicle morphogenesis and incisor bud , but at a later stage, they have their own specific expression pattern .5. Morphogenesis of Yak whisker hair follicle and incisors were similarly constructed by the epithelial - mesenchymal interactions. The main difference is that the ultimate whisker hair follicles and hair fiber formation all come from epidermal cells, but only the outer gearmineralization of incisor is formed by the epithelium, other parts of the mineralization is formed by the formation of mesenchymal cells.
