Arbuscular Mycorrhiza(AM) is distributed widely in nature,and it is the symbiont of the plants'root system and soil fungus. Mycorrhiza play an important part and significiance on the plants growing,increasing production,improving quality,enhancing stress resistance and so on,however,which depends on the cultures. Alfalfa is the main leguminous grass in the world,and alfalfa is planted extensively as the high production,good quality and strong stress resistance,it is important for the development of animal husbandry in our country. Alfalfa and AM have good infectivities, so they are usually used for the host plant researched on the biotechnology of mycorrhiza.The purpose is colleting dominant culture from natural grassland in this study,and we should take the method of cultivating alfalfa as houseplants,we evaluate the effect after choosing the Glomus constrictum.It is really worthwhile to exploit alfalfa Glomus constrictum. The main results are as follows:(1)The three kinds of AM fungi have achieved comfortable symbiosis relationship with alfalfa,which could promote the over-ground part of alfalfa growing.The three tested AMs increased considerably than before,especially Glomus constrictum.(2)The three kinds of AM fungi have advanced alfalfa absorbing the N and P more or less, The three kinds of AM fungi increased considerably than before,however, Glomus constrictum advanced the absorb more significantly.(3)The three kinds of AM fungi could improve the weight of alfalfa's over-ground drymatter, The three kinds of AM fungi increased considerably than before, especially Glomus constrictum. Glomus constrictum increased the production more significantly.(4)The three kinds of AM fungi have advanced alfalfa's protein more or less, The three kinds of AM fungi increased considerably than before, however, Glomus constrictum advanced the absorb more significantly.The three kinds of AM fungi could improve quality of the alfalfa,but Glomus constrictum affected more obviously.(5)The three kinds of AM fungi have reduced alfalfa's proline and the content of Na+ , The three kinds of AM fungi reduced obviously than before, however, Glomus constrictum advanced the absorb more clearly. Mycorrhizal Inoculation could enhance stress resistance of alfalfa, but Glomus constrictum's function has been more obviously. (6)Glomus constrictum got high aidity and symbiosis along with the host plant.(7)Based on the anlysis of infection's rate,spore's quantity,the plant height,the drymatter weight,the plant total N,the plant total P,the plant total Chl and proline,the results indicated that the effect is best,as Glomus constrictum acted on the both alfalfa,therefore, Glomus constrictuma has been choosen .
