Wuyishan Scenic Resort is one of the greatest interests of China. Tourism is the pillar industry in Wuyishan City, whose pine is the important raw material of forestry chemical industry, paper pulp manufacture, artificial wood board, colophony and so on. Meanwhile, pine is also the important ecological and enjoyable trees in Wuyishan Scenic Resort and has a tremendous effect to the economy construction and forest ecological system. Monochamus alternathus Hope is the main forest insects doing great harm to pine and it is also the main spreading vehicle to the Bursaphelenchus xylophilus. Without the harm of the Bursaphelenchus xylophilus, in Wuyishan Scenic Distric, the launch to monitor the Monochamus alternathus Hope can protect the tourism development and the ecological constructions are alsohas obvious economical, social and ecological profits. Since 2002, the Monochamus alternathus Hope had done great damage to the Wuyishan Scenic Resort, which has caused a large number of pine to death. Now we have got much research on main distribution, the biological specific properties, ecological features and so on, which can lay an important foundation for the Monochamus alternathus Hope's monitoring .The researchmainly use forest traps, wooden-lure and the Monochamus alternathus Hope's wormhole to monitor and the biological prevention and cure as well as the research being directed against to the dead wood's sample's detection.The main research abstract followed:1. The main spreading vehicle of the Bursaphelenchus xylophilus---the Monochamus alternathus Hope ,which comes from the researching method using hanging traps to cooperate FJ-Ma-05 attractant, wooden–lure and the wooden-investigation. The result suggests that Monochamus alternathus Hope appear fragmentarily peak period a year, which are respectively the period from the middle ten days of May to the first ten days of June and the priod from the last ten days of June to the middle ten days of July. The highest point happens in July. With in the two periods, the insects'trapped amount holds 84.2% of the all. And the amount of the wormholde found in the wooden–lure is up to 194. The result also suggests that the amount of the Monochamus alternathus Hope's imago and the larva is subject to the temperature, humidity ,precipitation, the difference in temperature.2 .The method to prevent the, Monochamus alternathus Hope is using Scheroderma guani and the M.anisopliae. The result suggests that it's economic and effective to let guani out at the density of 20000 per hm2 with the separated method during the period from the last ten days of June to the first ten days of July .The average prevention and cure effect of adopting M.anisopliae Ma1291, MaWP, MaF22l and Ma1775 is up to 51.14%, the highest point is 54.12%.3 .The dying trees and the dead wood in Wuyishan Scenic Resort are sampled and taken to the lab to separate and identity. The results suggest that there are just 3 trunk of samples in 16 dying trees or dead woods found the Bursaphelenchus mucronatus. The else are found no insects, which shows that the Bursaphelenchus xplophilus doesn't caused death of the dying trees and the dead woods.
