Resistance of rice leaffolder (Cnaphalocrocis medinalis Guenee) in 6 regions of Hunan Province (Yongzhou Lengshuitan, Suining County, Longhui County, Hengnan County, Xiangyin County, Li County), to the 7 chemicals,with Lambda-cyhalothrin, Emamectin Benzoate, Abamectin, Chlorpyrifos, Profenofos, Chlorfluazuron and Chlorantraniliprole, have been monitored by using topical application for the first time in August. The resμlt shows that, the resistence of rice leaffolder had remarkable difference between diffenrent regions or different chemicals, although, which were maintained at the same resistence level.The resistance level of rice leaffolder to Lambba-cyhalothrin is between 1 folds to 3.41 folds,the resistance level of rice leaffolder to Abamectin is between 1 folds to 3.12 folds, the resistance level of rice leaffolder to Chlorpyrifos is between 1 folds to 3.53 folds, the resistance level of rice leaffolder to Chlorantraniliprole is between 1 folds to 1.34 folds, the resistance level of rice leaffolder to Chlorafluazuron is between 1 folds to 1.45 folds, the resistance level of rice leaffolder to Profenofos is between 1 folds to 5.00 folds, the resistance level of rice leaffolder to Emamectin Benzoate is between 1 folds to 3.96 folds,The differences of resistence to Abamectin, Emamectin Benzoate and Chlorantraniliprole were smallest.The resistance to the Emamectin Benzoate and the Abamectin was generally high, while to the Chlorantraniliprole was always slow.The results also showed that the resistance of rice leaffolder of Lengshuitan to the supplied chemicals was rising slowly in May to September. And it developed most rapidly to the Emamectin Benzoate, while most slowly to the Chlorantraniliprole. Analysis of effects of the synergist on the rice leaffolder demonstrated that the mμlti-purpose oxydases has played a major role for the development of the resistance of rice leaffolder.Those seven chemicals were most effective in the Hengnan, while least effective in Xiangyin. The Chlorantraniliprole had the best effects of insect disinfestations and seed protections.
