| Objectives: To investigate the damage of ischemic stroke (IS) and evalute ZhongFeng II clinical effect on this kind of damage. Present experimental data for using ZhongFeng II in treatment of ischem.ic stroke. Materials and Methods: 45 male gerbils were randomly devided into three groups: model group (MG), normal saline group (NSG) and ZhongFeng II group (herb group, HG). Animal model was established by occluding one side of common carotid artery. 1 ml herb was given from digestive tract after animals appear nervous system positive signs. The same quatnity saline was given as well as NSG per three hours. The primory outcome measurement was to test (31u level, LPO level and to make microphological analysis.
