HLA-DRB1*07Allele Correlates With Psoriasis Vulgaris In Xinjiang Uygurs

Objective:Psoriasis is a chronic, inflammatory, hyperplastic skin disease. The pathogenesis of which is still not clear. There are several theories such as genetic, immune and infection.In recent years the studies about the relation of psoriasis and HLA have made a lot of progresses. Psoriasis can be divided into two types, type one (onset before fourty years old) and type two(fall ill after fourty). HLA-CW6, HLA-B57, HLA-DR7mainly be expressed in the patients of type I while HLA-CW2is expressed excessively in the type Ⅱ patiens. HLA-DRB1*07is one of gene sites which are most closely related with psoriasis. Experts and scholars from home and abroad have detected the expression of HLA-DRB1*07in the psoriasis patiens who are from different areas and different nations. Some scholars suggest that the expression of HLA-DRB1*07may be intimately associated with the psoriasis vulgris.However, the studies about the psoriasis patients of the uyghurs of xinjiang have not yet been reported in the literature so far. Our aim is to identify the HLA-DRB1*07allele associated with genetic susceptibility to psoriasis vulgar (PV) in Uighurs from Xinjiang. Methods:We detected the distribution frequencies of HLA-DRB1*07allele of200Xinjiang Uighurs patients with psoriasis Vulgaris by polymerase chain reaction-specific sequence primers(PCR-SSP), comparied with200healthy controls.Results:1.The frequence of HLA-DRB1*07allele increased obviously in psoriasis group compared with controls.2.The frequence of HLA-DRB1*07allele in type I psoriasis Vulgaris patients was higher than that in controls.3. No difference in psoriasis Vulgaris patients with positive history between that in those of negative one.Conclusion:HLA-DRB1*07allele may be predisposing gene of psoriasis Vulgaris patients in Uighurs from Xinjiang.
