Building Of Mode On Uterine Smooth Muscle And Experimental Study Of The Inhibitory Effects Of Ji-Liu-Xiao Infusion On Leiomyoma Of Uterus

Based on the theories of traditional Chinese medicine, experiments on the proved recipe - Ji-Liu-Xiao Infusion (myoma-inhibiting granules) were carried out with modern techniques. The results showed:(1)Ji-Liu-Xiao Infusion distinctly inhibited the growth of neoplasm, patternized after Fujii's method, in guinea pigs, and it had a distinct inhibitory effect on uterine Smooth muscle, either in vivo, or isolated in myoma-patternedrats. Furthermore, it distinctly reduced the amount of estrogen in blood of uterine leiomyoma-patterned rats.(2). Ji-Liu-Xiao Infusion increased the cellular opening, improved the blood speed and perfusion state, and reduced the vi societies of the whole blood and plasma, and it had a distinct inhibitory effect on uterine smooth muscle, in isolated, in normal rats and rabbits. Wharfs more, it enhanced greatly the activity of phagocytes and increased the number of antibody in mice.To sum up, Ji-Liu-Xiao Infusion can regulate the movements of uterine smooth muscle, promote blood circulation to remove blood stasis, antagonize estrogen, inhibit the growth of neoplasm on uterine smooth muscle and enhance immunity.
