Clinical Study On Xinshubao Pill For Treating Angina Pectoris Of CHD

Objectives: To observe efficacy and adverse effects of Xinshubao Pill forTreating Angina Pectoris of syndrome of deficiency of qi with blood stasis on clinical symptoms of TCM syndrome and taking Diaoxinxuekang capsule as the control, to objectively evaluate the efficacy and safety of Xinshubao pill for treating angina pectoris of CHD.Patients and methods: Sixty patients with angina pectoris of syndromeof deficiency of qi with blood stasis entered the study and were randomized to treatment and control groups, 30 cases in each. The treatment group was given Xinshubao pill, two pills one time and three times each day. The control was given Diaoxinxuekang capsule, two pills one time and three times each day. The treatment duration was four weeks. The study was made as a randomized double blind control trial. The dynamic electrocardiography ( DCG ) doppler echocardiography , electrocardiogram (ECG) , the conditions of blood , urine, excrement, the liver and renal functions and blood liquid were determined at the beginning and the end of the trial respectively. During treatment, we observed the attack frequency of angina pectoris, reduction and stop with quick-acting dilated arteria coronaria medicine, the changes on TCM syndrome and the level of blood pressure and heart rate.. The clinical treating effects and their beginning and maintaining time were assessed with the methods of grade score and described inwords. The adverse effects were illustrated in words.Results :There was very significant efficacy on treatment and controlgroups for treating angina pectoris of CHD(P<0.01). they were equivalent efficacy and had no significant difference(P>0.05), TCM syndrome was improved and there was significant difference at the beginning and the end of the trial(P<0.05), but there was no significant difference between the control and treatment groups(P>0.05).Two groups had obvious effect on attending blood liquid, but treatment group was better than control group in reducing TC. Two groups had obvious effect on reducing blood pressure and slowing heart rate and no significant difference each other (P>0.05). Treatment group had significant effect on perfecting hemorheology and reducing platelet aggregating rate and was better than control group. The "three great regular tests", liver and renal functions had no marked changes during the treatment. There were no adverse effects in both groups after taking the drugs.Conclusions : Xinshubao pill had significant treating effects for anginapectoris of syndrome of syndrome of deficiency of qi with blood stasis, xinshubao is a safe and effective new drug of Chinese herbal medicine for angina pectoris of CHD.
