Experimental Study On Jing Xing Zhi Ke Granule In Treatment Of Children's Cough Caused By Invasion Of Exogenous Pathogens

Jing Xing Zhi Ke Granule (JXZKG) contains Herb of Fineleaf Schizonepeta,Herb of Japanese Ardisia,Apricot Kernel,Chinese Ephedra etc., which has the effect of dispersing wind and cold evils,opening the inhibited lung-energy and bring down the fire,expelling phlegm and arresting cough. It can used for treatment of children cough caused by invasion of exogenous pathogens which has syndromes of accumulation of wind and cold turning in fire. This thesis had done some experimental study on the pharmacodynamics of this granule. The study showed that the JXZKG could replace and reduce pathological lesion of acute bronchitis model rats , and could increase intracellular bacterial killing ratio and leucocyte mobillzation fuction in model rats, could inhibit the mice auricle tumefaction degree induced by xylol and the rats granulomatous hyperplasia by sc agar, could obviously prolong the incubative period and decrease the times of cough in 3 minute induced by amnonia liquor or Sulphur Dioxide gas in mice, could increase secretion of Phenol red from mice tracheas and accelerate the phlegm displacement of rats, could inhibit pant induced by histamine of cavia porcellus(guine-pig), could inhibit six kinds of virusincluding influenza virus(IV),coxsackie virus(CV),paraiufluenza virus,respiratory syncytial virus(RSV),adeno virus(AD) and rhino virus, and also inhibit peneumonia induced by IV in mice and decrease death rate of mice infected with IV obviously, could inhibit several bacteria including staph. aureus,pneumococcus,β-hemolytic streptococcus in vivo, and could decrease death rate of mice infected with staph.aureus,Pneumococcus and H. influenzae, could facilitate the formation of hemolysin and raise the index of carbon granule clearance in immunosuppressive mice, the drug was also fould to have antipyretic effect on rabbits fever model induced by DPT .Finally, we can infer from the experiments' results: JXZKG has obvious effect of improving acute bronchitis' symptoms and anti-inflammation,suppressing cough,dispelling phlegm,calming panting,anti-virus,anti-bacteria,enhancing immunologic fuction and anti-pyrexia, This drug can be used as an effective and safe traditional Chinese medicine to treat children cough caused by invasion of exogenous pathogens(accut bronchitis) which has syndromes of accumulation of wind and cold turning in fire...
