Expression Of E-cadherin, β-catenin And Matrix Metalloproteinase-7 In Squamous Cell Carcinoma Of Esophageal

PURPOSE: To study the expression of E-cadherin, β-catenin and MMP-7 in esophageal squamous cell carcinoma with different PTNM .pathological grade .invasive depth and node metastasis.METHODS: In this study we used immunohistochemistry SP methodanalysed the expression of E-cadherin, β-catenin and MMP-7 in 40 cases of squamous cell carcinoma of esophageal and 20 c ases of normal tissues of esophageal. Statistical methods: W ilcoxon Test, kuskal-wallis test and spearman test. RESULT: On immunohistochemistry there are remarkable diffe rence between normal tissue with carcinoma tissue(p<0.05); th ere are remarkable difference of E-cad, β-cat expression in different PTNM (p<0. 05), there are relativity in PTNM with E-c ad, β-cat expression(p<0. 05) ; there are remarkable differenc e of MMP-7, E-cad and β-cat expression in different pathologi cal grade (p<0. 05), there are relativity in pathological gradewith E-cad, β-cat expression(p<0. 05) ; there are remarkable difference of MMP-7, E-cad and β-cat expression in different invasive depth (p<0. 05), there are relativity in different i nvasive depth with E-cad, β-cat expression(p<0. 05) ; there ar e remarkable difference of MMP-7, E-cad and β -cat expression in node metastasis (p<0.05) .there are relativity in node me tastasis with E-cad, β-cat and MMP-7expression(p<0. 05) ; there are relativity in E-cad with β-cat expression(p<0.05); the re are no relativity in MMP-7 with E-cad, β-cat expression(p >0. 05).
