Purpose: To investigate the level of Leptin and Insulin and in order to investigate their effect on cardiovascular tissue in Simple Obesity Children. Material and Method: We random selected 30 Simple Obesity Children and 30 normal weight children. Serum leptin, Serum Insulin were measured by radioimmunoassay in thirty obese children and thirty healthy children, Blood pressure(Bp) was measured by the standard method, blood triglyceride (TG) , Cholesterol (Tch) were measured by GPO-PAP method. High density Lipoprotein (HDL) was measured by deposition method and Low Lipoprotein (LDL) was calculated by the formula LDL= TG/5+HDL-TG . Body mass index (BMI) was calculated by the formula BMI=Weight/(Body length)2. Leptin concentration and INS concentration and blood pressure and blood lipid level were analysed respectively. Correlation were analyzed between Leptin concentration and INS concentration, between Leptin concentration and BMI, between Leptin concentration and Body mass, between Leptin concentration and TG concentration. Result: The levels of serum Leptin Insulin in obese group were dramatically higher than those in control group (All P<0.05), blood pressure of obese group also higher than the control group. The relationship between blood lipidsuch as triglyceride(TG), Total Cholesterol (Teh), Low Lipoprotein (LDL) in obese group were significantly higher than those in control group (All P<0.05). The relationship between serum Leptin and serum Insulin had the higher correlation, the correlation coefficient is R=0.786 (P<0.05). The regression equation is Y=9. 53 1+0. 7311IX. In two groups, The relationship between Leptin concentration and BMI , between Leptin concentration and Body mass, between Leptin concentration and TG concentration all had higher correlation. Conclusion: Simple Obesity Children have higher serum Leptin and they have Leptin resistance (LR). Simple Obesity Children have higher serum Insulin and they have Insulin resistance (IR). Simple Obesity Children have higher Bp than normal weight children and have dyslipoidosis. LR and IR likely play the inderect roles in cardiovascular diseases and dyslipoidosis.
