Study On Expression Of Growth Factor In AS Plaques Of ASO Treated By Supplementing Qi And Activating Blood Therapy

Objective: To study the expression of growth factors in artherosclerosis(AS) plaque of ASO, AS plaque of ASO treated by supplementing Qi and activating blood therapy. AS models were made from rats. PDGF-A, VEGF, b-FGF, IGF-1 were studied. Method: the models of AS in SD-rats were developed by Vitamin D3 and high fat food. After models had been succeed, the rats were divided into blank control group, model group and model control group. Rats of model group were filled stomach with decoction of supplementing Qi and activating blood. The protein level and area of four growth factors in AS plaques and normal artery were studied by means of immunohistochemistry. Results: pathological findings show AS changes in model rats. Compared with blank control group, VEGF, b-FGF, IGF-1 protein have a high level in AS plaques of model rats (P<0. 01) . Compared with model control group, decoction of supplementing Qi and activating blood can reduce the expression of VEGF, b-FGF, IGF-1 protein in AS plaques (P<0.05). Conclusion: It s a celerity and effective way to develop AS mode Is of rats by Vitamin D3 and high fat food, decoction of supplementing Qi and activating blood can effectively reduce the expression of VEGF, b-FGF, IGF-l protein in AS plaques. The study makes a good base for selecting new drugs and means.
