Clinical Study On Treating Idiopathic Thrombocytopenic Purpura(ITP) with Supplying qi and Invigorating Blood CirculationThis study is under the guidance of Chinese medicine theory, to observe the clinical curative effect of treating idiopathic thrombocytopenic purpura with supplying qi and invigorating blood circulation. We hope to defmitude the curative effect of the decoction, and to discuss the pathogenesis that "Qi can't contain blood" during the proceeding of idiopathic thrombocytopenic purpura, and the correctness of treatment principle "supplying qi and invigorating blood circulation". Then to form the theory basis on treating ITP with traditional Chinese medicine.The thesis mainly includes two parts: literature summarizing and clinical study.The literature summarizing parts includes 2 papers. The first one reviewes the modern study on ITP. It introduces the concept, etiology, pathogenesis, prognosis, treatment of ITP and some problems in modern study. The second part is about traditional Chinese medicine study on ITP at present, introducing general introduction, the cause and pathogenesis, TCM therapy(including pattern identification based on different syndrome, special decoction for special treatment, combining Chinese and modern medical study, external and internal treatment), TCM experimental study and the problems of ITP based on TCM theory.In clinical study part, 30 patients with ITP according with Qi can't contain blood were chosen as observation group. They were all patients from Hematology and Immunology Department of Dongfang Hospital affiliated BUCM. They were treated by decoction based on the TCM theory "supplying qi and invigorating blood circulation". To observe the change of hemogram, megakaryocyte, platelet-associated IgG(PAIgG) and Clinical symptoms scoring after six months. Results: The clinical study shows that such decoction can not only improve hematopoiesis symptoms, but also increase blood platelets counting. Besides it's merely safe.Through the study, we certificated the curative effect of the decoction mentioned -above, raised and discussed the hypothesis of the "Qi can't contain blood" of ITP patients, and the treatment principle of "supplying qi and invigorating blood circulation". The exact action mechanism is to be discussed further.
