| Idiopathic thrombocytopenic purpura (ITP) is known as autoimmunity thrombocytopenic purpura, is frequent acquired character hemorrhagic disease of children, common disease, It is characterized by autoantibody Mediated peripheral blood disc breakdown and bone marrow Megakaryocytic maturation arrest。Due to the pathogenesis of ITP is still not fully known to us, it' s difficult to cure it. In recent years, it has been proved that some cytokine has something to do with the invasion and clinic advancement of ITP。After summarizing the clinical experience in curing ITP by using method of invigorating the kidney and promoting blood flow of the blood disease of pediatrics, Guangdong Hospital of Traditional Chinese Medicine, by the experiment design of random and blind method and compare, to observes influence on curative effect of ITP children and on cytokine, to study traditional Chinese medicine' s influence on ITP from the point of view of cytokine。Objective: to observe the influence and curative effect to cytokine of "the method of invigorate the kidney and promoting blood flow"。Method: by the experiment design of random and blind method and compare, to observes influence on curative effect of 42 ITP children and on cytokine. They are divided to healing group and control group by random, healing group accept the traditional Chinese medicine of invigorate the kidney and promoting blood flow, control group are treated by prednisone。Result: The treatment process is observed strictly according to the design, 7 patients in the healing group have excellence, 11 patients have certain improvement, while the rest invalid, the total efficiency rate is 85.7%. In comparison with it, 10 patients in the control group have excellence , 9 patients have certain improvement, while the rest invalid, the total efficiency rate is 90.5%. To compare the two groups, by analysis of X~2, p＞0.05, contrast is not significance, which illustrates both methods have a notable curative effect on ITP children; According to TCM curative effect standard, 6 patients in the healing group have recovery, 13 patients have certain improvement, while the rest invalid, the total efficiency rate is 95.2%. In comparison with it, 4 patients in the control group have recovery , 7 patients have certain improvement, while the rest invalid, the total efficiency rate is 52.4%. To compare the two groups, by analysis of X~2, p＜0.05, contrast is significance, which shows that the TCM group functions better in improving the symptom of the children。During the clinical research, the healing group have no adverse reaction, some of the control group have complaints, spontaneous perspiration, hectic fever, panicky etCo invigorate the kidney TCM cum prednisone are both create invariably effect to the cytokine level of ITP, make IL-2,IL-4,IL-6 degrade, with matched-pairs rank sum test, the change have statistical significance (P＜0.05)。With rank sum test, contrasting the level of IL-2,IL-4,IL-6 between healing group and control group, result display that they have no significant deviation (P＞0.05), which illustrate that both of them have similar effect on cytokine, however, TCM wouldn't produce auxiliary reactions due to taking hormone for a long time。Conclusion: invigorate the kidney TCM have functions well in treating the ITP disease, which provides objective basis not only for the further unified knowledge of TCM pathogenesis of ITP, but for the ITP treatment by invigorate the kidney TCM.
