| Endometrial Carcinoma is the most common malignancy of the female genital tract, it is a kind of tumor on which depends hormones, but the greater incidence of endometrial carcinoma is predominant in the postmenopausal age group.Occurrence and development of tumor experience a course of complication and continuity. Degrader of ECM imply an key signal of invasiness normal tissues and staring metastasis, Degrader of ECM mainly depends on proteolytic enzymes, MMPs can cleave all kinds of structural of ECM .which were known to increase invasiveness and metastasis in human cancer cell lines and to play an important role in the course of occurrence and progress of tumor . MMP-2 is typeⅣcollagenase and cleaveⅣcollagen molecules, it plays a key role in the high staining of tumor. Strome-lysin MMP-7 can cleave collagen, gelatine et al the major compo-nent of basement membranes and ECM, Last analysis demensrated the high expression of MMP-7 correlated with the characteristic invasive and metastasis of carcinoma cells .TIMP-2 inhibits the activity of MMP-2 and blocks occurrence and development of tumor.Objective Must of studies stood at the positive expression ratio or the amounts of MMPs and TIMPs correlated with the development of endometrial carcinomas .This time will probe into different positive expression ratio of MMP-2,7 and TIMP-2 in the normal-endometrial tissues, hyperplasia- endometrial tissues and carcinomas- endometrial tissues, and we will knowledge the impor-tant influence of MMP-2,7 and TIMP-2 in endometrial diseases. Materials and Method We performed an immunohistoche-mical method to evaluated the positive expression ratio of MMP-2,7 in the all endometrial tissues, in cluding 20 carcinoma tissues, 30 hyperplasia tissues ( 20benign endometrial hyperplasia and 10 pre-cancerous endometrial lesions ) and 10 normal tissues were examined on paraffin-embedded, Data were assessed by statistics .Result In the proliferation and secretory phases of normal –endometrial tissue MMP-2,7 and TIMP-2 were immunostained in the gland epithelium, most of all were distributed partially , but not in the stromal cells; in the hyperplasia –endometrial tissues MMP-2,7 and TIMP-2 were immunostained in the gland epithelium, stromal cells , MM-7 was expressed predominantly than that in the normal-endometrial tissues; In the carcinoma endometrial tissues MMP-2,7 and TIMP-2 were immunostained in the gland epithelium and stromal cells, most of all were distributed widespre-adly, The positive expression ratio of them was higher than in the control non-carcinoma endometrium, In the gland epithelium MM-7 was expressed completely ,but not in the stromal cells .The expression of MMP-2 is over-expressed in the carcinoma cases with advanced stages , lymph-node metastasis.Discussion This study showed in the proliferation and secretory phases MMP-2,7 were all immunostained and may be correlated with influence of estrogen .The result showed the positive expression of MMPs was higher in the gland epithelium of proliferation phase than that in the secretory phase ,though did not find out different predominantly in the secretory and proliferation phases. In the normal-endometrial tissues MMP-2, 7 were just immunostained in the gland epithelium ,but not in the stromal cells, the result was consistent with earlier studies , The high expression of TIMP-2 in the normal cells may participate in upholder of normal–endometrial function.The expression of MMP-2,7 in the gland epithelium and stromal cells of benign endometrial hyperplasia and pre-cancerous endometrial lesions tissues was statistically higher than that of normal-endometrial tissues, but the expression of TIMP-2 was lower than that of normal-endometrial tissues,,and which suggest that the high expression of MMPs may be correlate with influence of single estrogen .
