Research On Antihypertensive Effect Of Formula Of Clearing Liver Fire And Supplementing Qi And Its Compatibility Mechanism

Objective: Under the guidance of Chinese medicine theory and combining clinical, the author puts forward to a hypothesis that "Liver Fire consuming Qi" is an important pathogenesis at the early stage of essential hypertension (EH), creates the therapeutic method-"Clearing Liver Fire and Supplementing Qi", drafts the Antihypertensive Formula of Clearing Liver Fire and Supplementing Qi, observes its antihypertensive effect on EH and probes its compatibility mechanism, the aim of the research is to seek the effective therapeutic new method to treat EH clinically. Methods: Adopting internationally Spontaneously Hypertensive Rat(SHR) as pathological model, given drugs orally, the author measures ET. Ang II in plasma and NO. TNFa in serum. Cutting the heart, kidney and chest aorta of SHR into slices routinely, and dyeing the tissues of those with HE , observing with the optical microscope, and taking pictures with AO-the multi-functional microscope , the author observes the changes of the heart, kidney and chest aorta. Results: The formula has assured antihypertensive effect, with making the blood pressure obviously drop compared with before giving medicine(P <0.05); It can improve NO level in serum and adjust the balance of ET/NO , control contracting of blood vessel; reduce the plasma Ang II and serum TNFa, and has good reversing effect on the remodeling of blood vessel of SHR , so as to protect the heart, kidney from damage. Conclusions: The formula of Clearing Liver Fire and Supplementing Qi has good antihypertensive effect, combination of drugs of clearing liver, supplementing Qi, tonifying Yin, soothing the liver can strengthen its antihypertensive effect on SHR. Huangqi (Astragalus Root) has obvious compatibility enlargement utility in the whole formula.
