Discussion On The Mechanism Of Chinese Medicines In Relieving The Side Effects Of Corticosteroid During The Treatment Of VKHS

Objectives:To discuss the mechanism of decoction of Chinese medicines ( DCH ) in relieving the side effects of corticosteroid during the treatment of VKHS and provide the basis of clinical application-Methods: We observe the effect of treatment side effects of . corticosteroid in two groups.We employ DCH and corticosteroid for the first group,corticosteroid only for the second group,we also compare the visual acuity (VA) the signs and the side effects of corticosteroid before and after the treatment in the first group.Results: 1 the side effects in digestive system, metabolic dysfunction, hypertension are slighter in the first group, P<0.05; there are no differences in central agitation symptoms, osteoporosis and centrality obesity, P>0.05; and the side effects after treatment in central agitation symptoms, digestive system , centrality obesity are slighter than that before treatment, P<0.05,and there are no difference in osteoporosis, metabolic dysfunction and hypertension, P>0.05; 2, The effect of the first group is better than that of the second group, P<0.05; the VA and the signs after treatment are significantly improved respectively , P<0.05. Conclusions:, Chinese medicines can relieve the side effects of corticosteroid, and the effects of Chinese medicines combined with corticosteroid in treating VKHS are much better than that of corticosteroid single.
