Objective:To analysis the main methods and effects of treatment in a series of patients with retinal vein occlusion (RVO) Methods:Clinical records were reviewed to analysis the main methods and effects of treatment on 36 patients with retinal vein occlusion between June, 2002 and January,2003 Results: 21 eyes of recent onset RVO were underwent drug therapy, which areas of capillary non-perfusion were abscured by retinal haemorrhage in FFA,and had 61.9% of therapy efficiency rate ;11 eyes with 10DD and above of areas of capillary non-perfusion of CRVO and 5-7DD and above of BRVO were underwent laser photocoagulation, and had 72.7% of therapy efficiency rate; 6 eyes with massive vitreous haemorrhage ,proliferative vitreoretinopathy and tendency of traction retinal detachment were underwent vitrectomy and endolaser, and had 100% of therapy efficiency rate Conclusion: RVO has a expatiatory course of disease that shoud have periodic checkup.Different treatment should be applied including drug therapy, laser photocoagulation, vitrectomy in the different course of the disease.
