ObjectiveTo evaluate clinical characters of patients with right coronary artery disease at different location and stenosis and to direct clinicians to diagnose and treat right coronary artery disease early.Methods76 patients who came from the first clinical hospital of China Medical University were studied retrospectively. They were diagnosed as right coronary arter-y disease by coronary angiography in hospital from January 1998 to April 2004. According to their clinical characters, they were divided into myocardial infarction group and angina pectoris group. Clinical characters at different location and stenosis were compared in the two groups respectively.ResultsThe SBP and DBP of patients in angina pectoris group were higher than those in myocardial infarction group (p < 0. 05 ). The percentage of diabetes mellitus in myocardial infarction group was higher compared with angina pectoris group (36. 11% vs 5% ,p <0. 05) ,The value of FBG and CK peak was higher in myocardial infarction group (p <0.05). The percentage of proximal and middle segment in myocardial infarction group was higher compared with angina pectoris group(83. 33% vs 57.5% ,p <0.05) ,and the percentage of severe stenosis and complete obstruction in myocardial infarction group was also higher(77. 78% vs 50% , p <0.05). The incidence rate of low blood pressure and ar-rythmia in myocardial infarction group was higher compared with angina pectoris group( p <0. 05) ,The incidence rate of AVB in myocardial infarction group was higher compared with angina pectoris group (p <0.05).Myocardial infarction group: Low blood pressure was apt to happen on patients in proximal and middle segments of right coronary artery compared with those in distant segment( p < 0:05). Right ventricular infarction was apt to happen on patients in proximal segment compared with those in middle and distant segments( p < 0.05). Sinus bradycardia was inclined to happen in proximal and middle segments. Second - degree and third - degree AVB were apt to happen in proximal segment compared with distant segment(p <0. 05). Collateral circulation was apt to be formed in patients with complete obstruction compared with those with mild and moderate stenosis (p <0.05). The incidence rate of reperfusion arrhythmia in patients with complete obstruction was higher than that in patients with stenosis(55.56% vs 16. 67% ,p <0. 05).Angina pectoris group : The SBP and DBP of patients in distal segment were higher than those in proximal segment(p <0.05). Collateral circulation was apt to be formed in proximal segment compared with middle and distal segments ( p <0. 05) . The incidence rate of exertional angina pectoris was highest in proximal ,middle and distal segments(about 70% ). The male and smoking percentages were lower in patients with mild stenosis compared with non - mild stenosis (p <0. 05). Collateral circulation was apt to be formed in patients with complete obstruction compared with stenosis (p <0. 05). Heart failure was inclined to happen in patients with severe stenosis compared with mild and moderate ste-nosis(p <0.05).
