The Retrospective Research: The Chinese Laxative Method On The Chronic Renal Failure

Objective: To study the influence of laxative method on prolonging the decline progress of kidney . Study the influence of the turbid evil stagnation on the decline progress of kidney ,and on its clinical effect . Practise the laxative method by clinical case.Method: From 2001 to 2004 ,100 patients with CRF in No.1 Affiliated Hospital of Guangzhou University of Traditional Chinese Medicine were summarized and statistically analyzed retrospectively .Results: To most of the patients ,in both the early-mid group and the advanced one ,after taking the laxative of the Chinese Herb ,their Scr , Bun , decresed significantly ,P<0.01.In the early-mid group ,Hb, ALB rose markedly , P<0.01, and RBC rise too ,P<0.05. In the advanced group ,Hb, and RBC rose markedly , P<0.05.In both the early-mid group and the advanced one,the P3+ and K+ descent obviously ,P<0.01 while both the Ca2+ rose markedly ,P<0.01. In both the two groups ,their Ch and TG descent markedly ,P<0.05.Conclusions:The laxative of the Chinese Herb can control and relieve the symptoms of the patients . The laxative , based on Wendan Tang ,decrease the Scr, Bun level , improve the CRF patient's anemia , rise plasma albumin ,as well as control and relieve the CRF's symptoms . The laxative herb can decrease the Ch and TG, adjust the grease metabolism and prevent the damage caused by the abnormal grease metabolism . The laxative can adjust the Ca2+ and P3+ 's metabolisms , thereby this medicine can protect the function of the kidney .
