The medicinal material Flos Lonicera comes from the dried buds or primary flowers of Lonicera japonica Thunb. It is sweet in taste and cold in nature Which can clear away heat and remove toxic substances, mainly used for overstaffed and furuncle, erysipelas, evil heat and dysentery with bloody stool, anemopyretic cold, seasonal febrile diseases and so on.Flos Lonicera belongs to common -used Chinese medicine in clinic, whose demand each year is more than 800 million kilograms and can be met chiefly depending on cultivation. Choosing the good breed with high output and high quality is an effective measure in improving the output and the quality of the material medica during the cultivation of medicinal plants.Although the planting history of the flos Lonicera has more than several hundreds years and shapes variety of germplasm ,there is no man who has investigated the germplasm resources and chosen better breeds of flos Lonicera .In this thesis ,we chose the plants which have obvious differences in morphological characters of flos Lonicera through comprehensive investigation,and we observed their growth character and morphological characters of different organs, measured the concrete indexes such as the length and the diameter of their branches, the length between nodules of 1/3 upon and 2/3 down flower branches, the length and the width of laminas, the ratio of the length to width of laminas, the dry weight of the laminas, numbers of buds on the flower branches, the weight of the buds, the length and the width of the bracts, the ratio of the length to the width of the bracts, and so on.Then we did the cluster analysis depending on these indexs for the 21 speciescollected and the results showed that the biggest distance coeffient is 0.551,the smallest one is 0.000 among these germplasms, which proved that the genetic relationship among them is very near .when the distance coeffient is 0.126 ,all the germplasm can be classified three clusters marked I /II /III.The result is consistent with the former one that we have classfied the flos Lonicere germplasm as tliree kinds marked jizhaohua,mao hua,yeshenghua.That is to say the first cluster marked I is maohua,the second cluster marked II is jizhaohua ,the third cluster marked III is yeshenghua.The microspore morphological is so stable that it can be an important index of classifying germplasms.The result of electron microscopy scanning showed that the microspore morphological of the different flos Lonicere germplasms have some variations in such facets as the density and the length,thickness of dots on the surface of them.Otheiwise,there are obvious differences in the length of thejizhou.the chidaozhou ,the mengfakong.Our study showed that there are many differences in bands of isozyme through the analysis of the peroxide enzyme polyacyamide gel electrophoresis(POD-PAGE) and ester enzyme polyacyamide gel electrophoresis (EST-PAGE ), which showed the degree of their genetics' s difference.In contrast with the cluster analysis of the morphological characters,the nearer the conditions of the bands of polyacyamide, the smaller the distance coeffients of their morphological characters. For the peroxide enzyme polyacyamide,numbers and situations of bands of polyacyamide for germplasm of 15 and 18, germplasm of 2, 8 and 19, germplasm of 16 and 20, germplasm of 3, 5, 6, 9 and 10, germplasm of 17and 21 are absolutely uniform, their distance coeffients in the cluster analysis dendrogram are also the smallest.For the ester enzyme polyacyamide, numbers and situations of bands of polyacyamide for germplasm of 15 and 18,germplasm of 2, 8 and 19, germplasm of 16 and 20, germplasm 3, 5, 6, 9 and 10, germplasm of 17 and 21 are also absolutely identical, the result is consistent with the peroxide enzyme polyacyamide. otherwise, bands of the ester enzyme polyacyamide for germplasm of 11 and 12 are also absolutely identical,they also have the smaller distance coeffients in the cluster analysis dendrogram for the morphological characters.so we can conclude that these germplasms are the same...
