The Clinical Observation On Gengning Decoction In Treating Perimenopausal Syndrome Of Deficiency Of Yin Of Liver And Kidney

Perimenopausal Syndrome (PMS) is a high-mobidity common disease. It is a group of syndrome that is caused by the fluctuative decrease of the woman's estrogen level in her menopausal period. This syndrome' s main peculiarity is vegetative nerve functional disturbance, and psychological disturbance is accompanied. This article elaborates systematically the pathogeny and therapy development of this disease from both sides of modern medicine and traditional Chinese medicine.In order to seek an therapeutic drug that has few side effect, we adopted the method of nourishing liver and kidney to treat 40 patients (the drug is Gengning decoction) and selected 31 patients as control group (the drug is Beimeili tablet).The result proved that Gengning decoction could obviously relieve their symptoms which effective rate increasing significantly comparing to the control group after one course. Gengning decoction could increase E2, ameliorate psycho symptom these effect were prior to the control group. Gengning decoction also could reduce the level of FSH and LH. It could also regulate the immune function of their bodies and reduce side effect.This clinical study applied advanced detective technology, chose specific indexes and then evaluated objectively the curative effect of the drug, discussed its function as well. It turned out that nourishing liver and kidney, was an effective method of treating PMS. This study provided a basis for treating PMS by Chinese drugs.
