Effects Of Marrow-Supplementing And Blood-Engendering Granule On Bone Marrow And Peripheral Blood Of Wistar Rats With Aplastic Anemia

Objective To investigate the effects of Marrow-Supplementing and Blood-Engendering Granule on bone marrow and peripheral blood of Wistar rats with aplastic anemia.Methods CFU-E , CFU-GM of bone marrow of both normal Wistar rats and Wistar rats with aplastic anemia were observed by semi-solid culture of bone marrow.Wistar rats with aplastic anemia were treated with ZaiZhang Shengxue tablets or Marrow-Supplementing and Blood-Engendering Granule at higher,middle and low dosage for three weeks,the peripheral white blood cells (WBC) ,haemoglobin (HGB) and platelets (PLT) and bone marrow mononuclear cells were counted ,the femora were fixed and cut for pathlogical examination,and bone marrow of CFU-E and CFU-GM were incubated.Results The productions of CFU-E and CFU-GM were increased, the proliferation of haematopoietic progenitor cells were promoted, the amount of peripheral WBC, HGB and PLT from rats with aplastic anemia and the differential count of mononuclear cells in bone marrow was increased by Marrow-Supplementing and Blood-Engendering Granule and ZaiZhang Shengxue tablets.And the effect of Marrow-Supplementing and Blood-Engendering Granule is superior to that of ZaiZhang Shengxue tablets. Marrow-Supplementing and Blood-Engendering Granule increased the bone marrow cell component while reduced the fat component.The effect of Marrow-Supplementing and Blood-Engendering Granule of low dosage was similar to that of middle dosage and higher dosage.Conclusion Marrow-Supplementing and Blood-Engendering Granule could promote two lineages of myeloid and erythrocyte .
