Clinical And Experimental Study On The Effect Of Ruanjianyiqihuoxue Decoction In Treating Cerebral Ischemic Stroke

Objective: To investigate the effect and part mechanisms of Ruanjianyiqihuoxue decoction in treating cerebral ischemic stroke by clinical and experimental study, and provide the bases for using Ruanjianyiqihuoxue decoction in clinical practice.and furthermore, Ruanjianyiqihuoxue therapeutics was embodied.Method: clinical study: Eighty patients were randomly divided into therapy group(treated with Ruanjianyiqihuoxue Decoction and general westen medicine) and controlled group(only using general westen medicine), each treatment period was four weeks,There were two periods in all .The neurologic founction scoring, clinical effect, life quality scoring, clinical effect of TCM syndrome,the levels of tissue plasminogen activator(t-PA) and plasminogen activator inhibitor-1(PAI-1) in the peripheral blood, the effect of treatment on dyslipidemia and blood pressure reducing were observed before and after treatment. as well as the security of Ruanjianyiqihuoxue decoction .Animal experimental study: fifty male wister rats were randomly divided into 3 groups: the normal group (pseudo operated), the model group (operated ) and the therapy group (operated and treated with Ruanjianyiqihuoxue Decoction ). The rats cerebral ischemic stroke model were made by the method of four-blood vessel-blocked. The neurologic founction scoring, the levels of tissue plasminogen activator(t-PA) and plasminogen activator inhibitor-1(PAI-1) in the peripheral blood,and the result of pathology photograph were observed between groups.Result: clinical study: the total effective rate of therapy group was 85%,and the controlled group was 65%.the ameliorations of the scorings of neural deficit and life quality and TCM syndrome of therapy group were dominant compared with controlled group(P<0. 05), Ruanjianyiqihuoxue Decoction could increase the level of t-PA and decrease the level of PAI-l(P<0. 05),Ruanjianyiqihuoxue Decoction could also adjust dyslipidemia and decrease the level of blood pressure,the effects of therapy group were essential compared with controlled group(P<0. 05). The function of liver and renal, blood general measuring were normal before and after treatment,there was no bad reactions in patients caused by Ruanjianyiqihuoxue Decoction .Animal experimental study: Ruanjianyiqihuoxue Decoction could ameliorate the scorings of neural deficit of cerebral ischemic stroke rats(P<0. 05), increase the level of t-PA and decrease the level of PAI-1 in the peripheral blood(P < 0. 05), Significant reductions of nerval tissue damage and neural cells apotosis were found in the therapy group by pathology photograph.Conclusion: Ruanjianyiqihuoxue Decoction could ameliorate the scorings of neural deficit, life quality and TCM syndrome. at the same time, it could eliminated danger factor of cerebral ischemic stroke and made far-reaching effect. We can conclude that Ruanjianyiqihuoxue Decoction which based on Ruanjianyiqihuoxue therapeutics be one of the effectiver therapy in treating cerebral ischemic stroke. part mechanisms of Ruanjianyiqihuoxue decoction in treating cerebral ischemic stroke were such as adjusting dyslipidemia, decreasing the level of blood pressure, increasing thrombolysis and inhibiting new thrombus formation by adjusting the level of t-PA/PAI-1,inhibiting arteriosclerosis , protecting endothelial cells, protecting nerve cell and inhibiting neural cells apotosis were also its function.
