[Abstract1 Objective To investigate the expressions of PCNA C-erbB-2 and nm-23-H1 in breast cancer tissue and their relationships with pathology feature, clinic stage, lymph node metastasis, histological grade, tumor size. Methods The SP immunohistochemical staining method were adopted to examine the expressions of PCNA C-erbB-2 and nm-23-Hl protein in 76 samples of breast cancer tissues. Results Positive expressions of PCNA and C-erbB-2 protein in breast cancer tissues were positive relationships with tumor histological grade, the number of lymph node metastasis, and clinic stage, P<0.005, but not with axillary pathology feature, not tumor size. Positive expressions of nm23-Hl in breast cancer tissues were negative with lymph node metastasis, tumor size, clinic stage, but not to pathology feature, histological grade. PCNA was positively related with C-erbB-2, P<0.01. C-erbB-2 was negatively related with nm23-H1, P<0.01. Conclusions The expressions of PCNA C-erbB-2 and nm-23-Hl are important markers to estimate the biology action and prognosis of breast cancer.
