Research Of Antitumor Effect And Its Mechanism Of Lingqi Capsule

Objective: To discuss the anti-tumor effect of Ling-qi capsule on mice sarcoma S₁₈₀ and explore the mechanism of action. Method: The model of sarcoma S₁₈₀ solid tumor-bearing mice was produced and treated with high, mid and low dosage Lingqi capsule and Compound Cyclohosphamide Tablets. After giving drugs for 11 days, the inhibiting rate of tumor, thymus index, spleen index and the content of TNF-α, IL-1, IL-6 in its peripheral blood with ELISA were determined. Result: The inhibitory rate are 16.47%, 40.07% and 36.42%. Lingqi capsule obviously inhibit tumor without losing weight and influencing immune organs. Compared with the model group, the content of TNF-α, IL-1 , IL-6 in peripheral blood increases which has statistic significance. Conclusion: Lingqi capsule can obviously inhibit tumor of S₁₈₀, enhance the life quality of mice bearing tumor. The mechanism may be: improving the function of immune system, inhibiting the growth of tumor cells and accelerate tumor cell necrosis.
