Ischemic heart disease has become main disease threatening human healthy in the whole world. Finding safe and effective drugs to prevent and cure ischemic heart disease is an important task of medicine researcher.CHANGZHISHUXIN Capsule (CZSXC), developed by technique center of Harbin medicine clique, is hereditary empirical formula to treat thoracic obstruction cardialgia .The protective effect of CZSXC on experimental myocardial infarction in dogs and its mechanism analysis were reported in this paper. The dogs were randomized to five groups: AMI group (duodenum bolus sodium carboxymethycellulose after ligation), three different dose groups of CZSXC(duodenum bolus CZSXC 15, 30 and 60mg/kg after ligation)and masculine medicament group(duodenum bolus TONGXINLUO Capsule 200mg/kg after ligation). Acute myocardial infarct model was established as follows:After anesthetised with pentobarbital sodium, dogs were face upward fixed on the operating table and the chest was opened between the left third and fourth rib. The heart was exposed. A nylonsuture was placed under the left anterior descending coronary artery and ligated coronary artery. The parameters including EECG, HR,△ΣST,△NST, MBF, CVR and cardiacoxygen metabolism(COC, MOUR and MOCI) were examined. At 6 hours after ligation the blood samples were adopted from abdomen atery for measuring MDA and FFA contents and SOD, GSH-Px,CK,LDH and AST activities of serum.
