Research And Development The Cost-benefit Analysis System Of Large-scale Medical Equipments

With the rapid development of the scientific technology as well as the society progress, the medical equipments used in hospital are more complex and precise than that of old days. Especially, the large-scale medical equipment plays an important role in the hospital. After the HIS (Hospital Information System) has been introduced to manage the whole routine work in hospital, it's important and urgent to develop a new mechanism and method to manage and evaluate the large-scale medical equipments, and it is an important part to construct modernized and information hospital as well. Recently, much valuable research has been focused on cost-benefit analysis of the large-scale medical equipment by the domestic medical engineering expert. However, they just attempt to propose a systematic management methods based on the theory of health-economics; much work are only limited to facilitate on manual work, one computer or local network, and without considering to realize on-line search, inquiring, statistic and report.To overcome the shortcoming of previous system, our group researched and developed a cost-benefit analysis system for large-scale medical equipments management based on the HIS in Chinese army. In this thesis, the design idea and implement method for this cost-benefit analysis system will be discussed in detail. Firstly, the current situation of HIS and large-scale medical equipment management is overviewed, and the necessity of our research work will be discussed as well. Secondly, basic design scheme, which includes hardware, software, design tools and database system, will be described in detail. Thirdly, modular architecture and implement method will be presented, and the function and implement of each module are discussed as well. So far, the large-scale medical equipments management system based on cost-benefit analysis has been applied in our hospital, and the results demonstrate that, this system can improve the standard and scientific management of large-scale medical equipments including the quantization and accuracy of data analysis on equipments.
