Regulated upon activation normal T cell expressed and secreted (RANTES) and monocyte chemoattractant protein-1(MCP-1) both belong to CC-type chemokine, and have many biologic functions. Because they can not only combine co-reciptors of HIV but also chemoattract T cells, they may both involve in the infection or immunity of HIV. These years some research have inproved the viewpoint above. First we detect RANTES and mcp-1 in HIV infectors, then construct and express in vivo of hMCP-pcDNA3.1, hRANTES-pcDNA3.1 and hMCP/hRANTES-pcDNA3.1. Last we extract reconstructive protein and detect their chemoattractant function which creats conditions for anti-HIV research afterhence.
