Methods At various time points in the model rats of cerebral ischemia reperfusion after defibrase administered the changes of cerebral infarct volume were measured with TTC stain, the cerebral blood flow were inspected by means of The Dopular Blood flow Instrument, the behavior scores were performed with Neurological Severity Scores(NSS) test at the time just after operation and before sacrifice and the number of apoptosis cells were examined with TUNEL method. Results The cerebral infarct volume was significantly decreased(P<0.05) and the cerebral blood flow was increased when reperfusing for 6h and 24h after ischemia for 3h in defibrase groups compared with saline control groups. However, There is no difference in cerebral infarct volume between defibrase groups and the control groups when reperfusing for 3h and 72h after ischemia for 3h. In defibrase groups the scale of behavior was not improved. The TUNEL-positive cells were preferentially located in the inner boundary zone of the infaction and progressively increasedup to and peaked at 24h after reperfusion, and then decreased graudually, Thechangeable tendency of brain cell apoptosis in the defibrase groups have alike with control groups, the number of the apoptotic cell decreased (P<0.05). Conclusion When reperfusing within 24h after ischemia for 3h the defibrase... | Keywords/Search Tags: | defibrase, cerebral blood flow, infarct volume, cerebral ischemia reperfusion, behavior scores, apoptosis | PDF Full Text Request | Related items |
