Objective To explore the effect and mechanism of treating immunological infertility with positive cervical mucus or/and serum antisperm antibody (AsAb) by Bushenyikang Decoction in combination with isolation therapy; to compare the positive rate of cervical mucus AsAb and serum AsAb in patients with infertility of no significant etiology. Methods To assay the cervical mucus AsAb and serum AsAb in 130 patients; 52 patients with positive cervical mucus AsAb or/and serum AsAb were divided randomly into the treatment group(26 cases, treated with Bushenyikang Decoction in combination with condom) and the control group(26 cases, treated with condom only). Observe the improvement of clinical symptoms and the pregnant outcome. Results The positive rate of cervical mucus AsAb is higher than that of serum AsAb with significant difference(P<0.05); there was significant difference between the two groups in the relief of clinical symptoms, rate of AsAb turning to negative, pregnant and recurrent rate(P<0.01 or P<0.05). Conclusion The assay of cervical mucus AsAb is of important value in diagnosing immunological infertility; Bushenyikang Decoction can effectively modulate patients'immunological function, improve clinical symptoms, and significantly enhance the turning-to-negative rate and pregnant rate.
