Experimental Study On Effect Of Bu Yang Huan Wu Decoction On Gerontic Stasis Mouse

Objectives: To study the effect of BuYangHuanWu on hemorheology and to clarify the nature of blood stasis syndrome of BuYangHuanWu Decoction powder and provide cory for the study of Invigorating Oi and Promoting Blood Circulation. Methods: By using basic prescription of Invigorating Oi and Promoting Blood Circulation — BuYangHuanWu Decoction as object of study, this experiment study adopts gerontic stasis mouse, choosing index of hemorheology to observe the influence of it;blood serum total cholesterol(TC), triglyceride(TG), determination in rats on full automatic biochemistry analyzer with enzymatic reaction;serum malodialdehyde (MDA) concentration determination with thiobarbi -turic acid method;serum superoxide dismutase (SOD) activity determination with xanthine oxidase method. Results: ? BuYangHuanWu Decoction can lower markedly whole blood viscosity, plasmatic viscosity , hematocrit, fibrinogen concentration, platelet aggregation and higher red blood cell deformation. ②It can restrain the abnormal rising of blood-lipid , blood-sugar. ③It also can enhance the ability of anti — oxidizing, and reduce the damage of MDA. Cunclusions: The experimental results indicate that BuYangHuanWu Decoction can lower markedly whole blood viscosity and plasmatic viscosity. Their principle of reducing whole blood viscosity is reducing hematocrit, decreasing fibrinogen concentration and platelet aggregation , improving red blood cell deformation. It also can restrain the abnormal rising of blood-lipid , blood-sugar and enhancing the ability of anti — oxidizing, and reducing the damage of MDA.
