The Analysis Of TP And PCNA Association With Proliferation,Metastasis And Prognosis In Gastric Carcinoma | Posted on:2007-12-11 | Degree:Master | Type:Thesis | Country:China | Candidate:Z W Hao | Full Text:PDF | GTID:2144360185979775 | Subject:Surgery | Abstract/Summary: | PDF Full Text Request | Objective: To investigate the meaning and association with prognosis of TP and PCNA expression in gastric carcinoma.Methods: The expression of TP (thymidine phosphorylase ) / PD-ECGF (platelet-derived endothelial cell growth factor) and PCNA (proliferating cell nuclear antigen) were detected by immunohistochemistry method.Results: â‘ the expression rate of TP and PCNA were67.9%, 71.7 % respectively. â‘¡the expression of TP and PCNA in gastric carcinoma were Positively associated with invasive depth, histology differentiation and lymph node metastasis(P<0.05), PCNA was correlate with tumor size (P<0.05), while TP was not correlate with it (P > 0.05). â‘¢ TP was significantly correlated with PCNA in gastric carcinomas (P<0.01 ) . â‘£TP-positive group have a good prognosis with 2-year, 3-year survival rate and overall survival value in 22 cases who adjuvant chemotherapy (P<0.05 ) , whereas reverse result was found in 31 cases who didn't adjuvant chemotherapy about 2-year, 3-year, 5-year survival rate and overall survival value (P<0.05 ).
