Objectives1 To investigate the comorbidity of OCD and Axis I mood disorders and anxiety disorders.2 To investigate the comorbidity of OCD and Axis II personality disorders.3 To research the Five-Factor Model personality traits of OCD patients including those who were also diagnosed with personality disorders and those without personality disorders.4 To explore childhood traumatic experiences of OCD patients including those who were also diagnosed with personality disorders and those without personality disorders.Methods1 Structured-interview: SCID-I/P was administrated to 44 OCD patients diagnosed clinically to formally determine whether they meet DSM-1V criteria for anxiety disorders and mood disorders.2 Scale measures: PDQ+4 (personality diagnostic questionnaire) and NEO-PI-R (revised NEO personality inventory) were given to 44 OCD patients to screen their personality disorders and measure their FFM personality traits. CTQ-SF ( childhood trauma questionnaire- Short Form) was administrated to 44 OCD patients and normal control to assess their childhood maltreated experiences.3 Semi-structured interview: Personality disorders were formally diagnosed by conducting PDI-IV (personality disorder interview-IV) to OCD patients one week after the first administration.Results1 40.9% of the 44 OCD patients met the criteria for mood disorders. 31.8% of the OCD patients were diagnosed with Major Depression Disorder. 27.3% of the OCD patients met the criteria for anxiety disorders. 13.6% of the OCD patients were diagnosed with generalized...
