| Objective: To investigate the expression of Cyclooxygenase-2 (COX-2) and Survivin in breast benign lesion, ductal carcinoma in situ and invasive breast carcinoma and their clinical significances, and to explore the relationship. Method: 60 cases of breast benign lesion, 60 cases of ductal carcinoma in situ and 60 cases of in invasive breast carcinoma were detected by of the immunohistochemi-cal staining. Results: The positive rate of COX-2 was 50.00% (30/60) in breast benign lesion, 76.67% (46/60) in breast ductal carcinoma in situ, 81.67% (49/60) in breast invasive ductal carcinoma, the difference showed statistically significance (P<0.05). In breast benign lesion the positive rate of Survivin was 41.67% (25/60), in breast ductal carcinoma in situ it was 60.00%(36/60), in breast invasive ductal carcinoma the positive rate of Survivin was 70.00% (42/60), which was significantly different (P<0.05). COX-2 expression was not associated with patient's age, tumor size, PR state, menopause or not (P>0.05), but it was correlated with patient's lymph node metastasis, clinical stages, estrogen receptor positive (P<0.05). Survivin expression was not associated with patient's age, tumor size, ER state, PR state, menopause or not (P>0.05), but it was correlated with patient's lymph node metastasis, clinical stages (P<0.05). COX-2 expression was positive relation to Survivin expression (r=0.33, P<0.05). Conclusion: (1)The Crescent expression of COX-2, Survivin... |
