Experimental Research Of Regulation Of Angelica Sinensis On Mice's Sex Gland Function

Objective: To investigate the influence of Angelica Sinensis on Mice's Sex Gland function, by observing the diversity of serum genital hormone, endometrial pathology change and expression of ovary vascular endothelial growth factor(VEGF).Method: 100 mice were divided into 5 groups randomly ,including Angelica injection, Bu Shen Zi Gan formula, human menopausal gonadotropin (HMG) , experimental control, normal control, each group 20 mice. Except normal control, all the mice were irradiated by ⁶⁰Co-γray and respectively treated with Angelica injection, Bu Shen Zi Gan formula, human menopausal gonadotropin (HMG) , 0.9%Nacl. Normal control was not irradiated by ⁶⁰Co-γray and treated with 0.9%Nacl. Expression of ovary VEGF was quantitatively analyzed by immunohistochemistry method, E₂ and Progestone were detected in radioimmunity. The change of mice's endometrial pathology were observed with scanning electron microscope(SEM).Results: VEGF expression in ovary of Angelica injection is high , compare to Bu Shen Zi Gan formula, human menopausal gonadotropin (HMG) , experimental control, normal control, and the difference is Significant(P<0.01),there were no Significance between Bu Shen Zi Gan formula, HMG and experimental control(P>0.05). E₂ and Progestone value in Angelica injection is increased, compare to microvilli and the difference is Significant(P<0.01),and there were no Significance between Bu Shen Zi Gan formula, HMG and experimental control(P>0.05).The image of SEM show that Angelica injection mice's endometrial were covered with high and thick microvilli, some is lodging ,while microvilli is rare in Bu Shen Zi Gan formula, HMG and experimental control , surface of endometrial is rough . Endometrial development of Angelica injection superior to Bu Shen Zi Gan formula, HMG and experimental control significantly. Conclusion: Angelica injection have function of protection and regulation on female mice's sex gland .
