Experimental Research On The Effect Of Modified Taohe Chengqi Decoction On Rats With Hypertension Disease Complicated From Type 2 Diabetes And Serum Glucose Of Normal Mice

Objective:With the experimental research on animal, the curative effect of modified Taohe Chengqi decoction on the cases with hypertension disease complicated from type 2 diabetes and mechanism is tested by examining the curative effect on the experimental rats with diabetic hypertension and its effect on the fast serum glucose of normal mice.Methods:1. The experimental rats with diabetic hypertension were made by applying surgery for making stenosis of the bilateral nephritic artery and small dose of abdominal injected streptozotocin(STZ) are the research subject. Then 28 days after giving drug, detected the fast serum glucose, serum insulin, blood pressure, total cholesterol, high-density lipoprotein, low density lipoprotein, triglyceride, malonyldialdehyde, super oxide dismutase, the whole blood viscosity in high and middle and low shear rate, plasma viscosity, hematocrit, fibrinogen, and tried to analyzed the difference of each index in the experiment.2. Fifty Kunming mice were divided into 5 groups according to the weight, group a (normal control group that didn't treated), group b (positive control group), group c (high dose group), group d (middle dose group), group e (low dose group). The mice were given intragastric administration everyday morning for one week, and measured the fast serum glucose at the end of research and analyzed the difference of each group. Result:Modified Taohe Chengqi decoction can improve the condition and symptoms of rats with Diabetic hypertension(DH):decreasing serum glucose(P＜0.01), low density lipoprotein(P＜0.01), total cholesterol(P＜0.01), triglyceride(P＜0.01), the whole blood viscosity in high and middle and low shear rate(P＜0.01), plasma viscosity(P＜0.01), hematocrit(P＜0.01), malonyldialdehyde(P＜0.01), restraining the raising of the blood pressure(P＜0.01), increase super oxide dismutase and the activity of super oxide dismutase. Modified Taohe Chengqi decoction has no effect on the fast serum glucose of healthy mice.Conclusion:The study shows that modified Taohe Chengqi decoction can increase weight, low down the serum glucose, lipid metabolism and malonyldialdehyde, improve the blood theology, raise serum insulin, strengthen the activity of super oxide dismutase, restrain the raising of the blood pressure and have no effect on the fast serum glucose of healthy body. Deficiency of both vital qi and yin syndrome with inner obstruction of blood stasis and turbidity toxin stands most rates in the cases with hypertension disease complicated from type 2 diabetes. Supplementing qi, nourishing yin and activating blood are the most effective way. Modified Taohe Chengqi decoction is the main recipes to treat the cases with hypertension disease complicated from type 2 diabetes.
