Background: Primary bronchial lung cancer is one of the commonest malignancy, and its incidence rate and the mortality rate are on the rise in recentyears. Lung cancer has already taken the first place of various malignancyin many of our large and medium-sized cities. Because there are fewspecificities in clinical symptoms of lung cancer and the correspondingclinical examination indicators are not sensitive, most of the lung cancerpatients were belonged to later period when they see a doctor, and theyhave already lost the opportunity to be cured by surgery. For the moment, doctors usually adopt complex treatment to treat.patients of lung cancer, including radiotherapy, chemotherapy, Biologicaltreatment,TCM and support treatment, etc. But the overall curative effectwere unsatisfactory, A lot of research reveals that TCM has certainadvantages in modifying their symptoms and improving their life qualities. The characteristic of TCM, as far as its curative effect is concerned, isthe belt lump survival. TCM has the index of stability high, effectivenessis low, enhances the patient forward survival rate the characteristic.Along with the third generation chemotherapy plan application, chemotherapy effectiveness, the lifetime obtained the varying degreeenhancement, the Chinese medicine relative chemotherapy whether still didhave certain aspects the superiority? By the third generation chemotherapyplan took the comparison the Chinese medicine treatment lung cancerresearch comparatively front increases, but often bring sin to line withpatient example number less, showing dynamics is limited, but the Metaanalysis can better solution this question. Objectives: This research will summarize the past 10 years' research literatures which is about the effect of TCM on treating the later periodnon- cellule lung cancer (NSCLC) and also take the chemotherapy group asthe comparison group, and make Meta analysis on its curative effect:1. In appraisal Chinese medicine treatment later period non- cellule lungcancer curative effect;2. With the Chinese medicine treatment lung cancer characteristic whichformerly obtains makes the contrast, whether there is observes changes; Methods: This research analyzes (gathers together analysis) the method withMeta to come to the Chinese medicine treatment in the later periodnon-cellule lung cancer curative effect to carry on the appraisal. Carries onthe comprehensive retrieval according to the hypothesisretrieval way, mainly searches in the recent 10 years by the Chinese medicine and the thirdgeneration chemotherapy plan took the comparisonâ…¢,â…£issue of non-cellule lung cancer stochastic comparison research, after brings into linewith, removes the standard to determine the selected literature, carrieson the literature quality appraisal with the Jadad meter, carries on thedata to the selected literature research the input, (Review Manager)v4.2statistics software carries on the statistical data analysis usingRevMan, and carries on the publication bias analysis and the sensitivityanalysis. Results: This research has altogether bought into line with in 7 recentyears related Chinese medicine treatment later period NSCLC and makes thecomparison with the third generation chemotherapy plan the RCT research, used the Meta analysis the method the later period non-cellule lung cancercurative effect to carry on the analysis to the Chinese medicine treatmentin: The Chinese native medicine group is opposite to the chemotherapy group, lump body effectiveness: RR 0.37, 95% confidence interval (0.23, 0.59); Lumpbody index of stability: RR1.10, 95% confidence interval (0.99, 1.23); 1year survival rate situation: RR1.51, 95% confidence interval (1.11, 2.05);Card grades the situation: RR 1.60, 95% confidence interval (1.34, 1.91).Conclusion: Has carried on the comparison this Meta analysis result and thebefore correlation research conclusion, draws following conclusion:1.1 chemotherapies groups effectiveness surpassed the Chinese medicinegroup, in the Chinese medicine treatment the later period NSCLCeffectiveness possibly comparatively 10 years ago obtained thecertainenhancement. 1.2 Chinese medicine groups and the chemotherapy group (a chemotherapy plan)in the index of stability not the remarkable difference, prompts thirdgeneration chemotherapy plan the lump body index of stability to comparethe second-generation chemotherapy plan to have the enhancement.1.3 Chinese medicine groups compared to the chemotherapy group in one yearsurvival, rate have certain superiority.1.4 Chinese medicine groups grade in card on surpass the chemotherapy group, prompts the later period non- cellule lung cancer patient' survival qualityaspect has the superiority in the improvement.
