Objective:To study and evaluate the effect of myocardial protection by intermittent warm blood cardioplegia perfusion in cardiac valve replacement.Method:During the period from December 2001 to December 2006,we had applied intermittent warm blood cardioplegia perfusion to 34 patients who received cardiac valve replacement.At the same time,we had applied intermittent cold crystalloid cardioplegia perfusion to other 30 patients who received the same operation.Patients according to different perfusion methods were divided into two groups.We observed and compared their duration of CPB,duration of Aortic Cross-Clamp,heart rebeating rate after Aortic aortic off-clamping,duration of mechanical ventilation,incidence of post-operative low cardiac output syndrome, post-operative hospital day and the using of Dopamine.Result:There are not significant differences between two groups patients about age,cardio-thoracic ratio,cardiac function and operative methods.Duration of CPB and duration of Aortic Cross-Clamp has found no significant differences(P>0.05). Heart rebeating rate after aortic aortic off-clamping,duration of mechanical ventilation,incidence of post-operative low cardiac output syndrome, post-operative hospital day and the dosage of Dopamine in GroupⅠwere remarkably lower than them in GroupⅡ(P<0.05).Differences between two groups were significant.All patients were received a successful operation and fully recover.During follow-up period from three monthes to two years,all patients' cardiac function were satisfactory.Conclusion:Intermittent warm blood cardioplegia perfusion has achieved better effects of cardiac protection than intermittent cold crystalloid cardioplegia perfusion.
