Objective: To approach the associativity between differentiation of syndrome and classification of TCM of chronic aplastic anemia(CAA) and Fas/FasL correlated indicatrix of apoptosis system.Methods: The initial onset cases of CAA was selected, strictly according to the nationwide unified western medicine diagnostic criteria. To collect the bone marrow of the 90 cases of CAA, the patients was undertaken by the differentiation of syndrome of TCM,among the total,30 cases of asdthenic splenonephro-yang,30 cases of hepatic and renal yin deficiency,30 cases of kidney-Yin and Yang deficiency. Besides 15 cases of normal control was set up. Abstraction serum and bone marrow mononuclearcell culture, the antigen presentation rate of bone marrow cell Tac+(CD25),Fas,FasL and Apoptosis rate of BMMNC from CAA and health adult was observed by FCM; The result was analyzed by the statistics.Results: Apoptosis rate of BMMNC in chronic aplastic anemia patients was higher than normal control ; CD3+,CD25+,CD3+ CD25+ cell masculine rate of bone marrow was higher than contrast; Fas,FasL antigen presentation rate of bone marrow was higher than contrast;they all had significant difference;Compared with the three syndromes,Fas,FasL antigen expression of hepatic and renal yin deficiency was the highest, deficiency of both yin and yang was the higher, asdthenic splenonephro-yang was high, all had significant difference. Conclusion: The activation of bone marrow T cell and the reduction of solubility Fas and the increasion of medulla Fas,FasLexpression and the increasion of BMMNC apoptosis rate can all lead to the dysfunction of hematopoiesis and illuminate the pathogenesy of Fas,FasLsystem in CAA; Among the three syndromes ,hepatic and renal yin deficiency was the worst, deficiency of both yin and yang was worse, asdthenic splenonephro-yang was bad.
