Objective: 1.To observe the prophylactic effect of invigorating the kidney and regulating the thoroughfare vessel method to treat Ovarian Hyperstimulation Syndrome (OHSS) patients during in vitro fertilization (IVF) and the influence on the expression of Estradiol (E2), VEGF in follicular fluid, investigate the mechanism.2.Discuss the relationship between the expression of vascular endothelial growth factor (VEGF) and OHSS in follicular fluid of patients receiving IVF treatment.Methods:1.66 cases of patients were randomly divided into two groups, 33 cases belong to experimental group (Er Zhi Tiangui granule integrate with western medicine) and the other 33 cases in control group (western medicine). Compare the amelioration of kidney deficiency syndrome of the patients between retrieving oocytes day and after pituitary down-regulation, the difference of the OHSS incidence, serum E2 level, VEGF content in follicular fluid; gonadotropin (Gn) daosage; and the days using Gn after taken medicine. 2. Compare the difference of E2, VEGF content in follicular fluid between patients got OHSS and those contrary. 3.Compare the relationship of VEGF, E2 level in follicular fluid between the two groups, the relationship of VEGF level in follicular fluid and Gn dosage in control group.Results: 1.Compared with the control group, the kidney deficiency syndrome in experimental group has ameliorated distinctly with low incidence of OHSS. 2. VEGF level in follicular fluid, Gn dosage, days using Gn of the experimental group significantly under those in the control group. 3. The VEGF content in OHSS is higher than that without OHSS.4. Obvious relationship exists between VEGF, E2 level in follicular fluid both in two groups. No relationship in VEGF level in follicular fluid and Gn dosage in control group.Conclusion: 1. invigorating the kidney and regulating the thoroughfare vessel method could reduce the OHSS incidence distinctly by ameliorate the syndrome of kidney deficiency. The mechanism has nexus with regulating and controlling the E2, VEGF level in follicular fluid, activate the activation of E2, VEGF in micro-environment of ovarian and enhance their expression. 2. Invigorating the kidney and regulating the thoroughfare vessel method can decrease Gn dosage, days using Gn, lessen the suffering and economical burden of the patients. 3. The VEGF level in follicular fluid of patients with OHSS is higher than patients not with OHSS. Prompt that VEGF may be involved in the pathogenesis of OHSS, OHSS follicular fluid levels of VEGF can predict the indexes.4. During the process of OHSS, whether the VEGF can be a monitoring indicator for water overflow due to Yang deficiency is yet to further explored.
