The Clinical Analysis Of Rhegmatogenous Retinal Detachment In 273 Mope-eyed Cases

Objective: To analysis the rhegmatogenous retinal detachment in 273 mope-eyed cases for understanding the clinical feature and mechanism and supplying protective measures and therapeutic methods effectually to clinical works.Methods: Choosing the 273 mope-eyed cases(288 eyes),excluding injury ,no lens, geneogenous diseases, tractional and exudative retinal detachiment from Dec.2004 to Dec. 2007 among the 478 cases of rhegmatogenous retinal detachment, analysising including the morbidity ,ages , the retinal holes'number and shape, distribution, retinal degeneration, the therapeutical methods and therapeutic results.Using the SPSS 13.0 software package to analysis and calculate the results inα=0.05 level and have statistical purpose with P less thanα.Results:There were 273 mope-eyed rhegmatogenous retinal detachment cases(51.7%) among the 478 cases and the morbidity steadily increased gradually(P<0.05).In those cases there were 186 patients'ages more than 30(68.1%), 108 patients'diopter -6.00D above(74.0%), and the mope-eyed rhegmatogenous retinal detachment frequently happened on quinquagenarians of highmyopia(P<0.05) . To the character of holes there were 180 round holes(55.2%),91 rseshoe breaks(28.3%),31 macula holes(9.51%),10 giant tears(3.89%),14 dialyses(4.29%)and the round holes happened the most highly. To check up 326 breaks,there were 138(42.3%)breaks located on superior temperal,17(5.21%)holes located under nasal. The mope-eyed in high degree rhegmatogenous retinal detachment often generated macula holes (P<0.05). 227 cases(78.8%)have the zones of retinal degeneration and 152 (67.0.%) cases with lattice degeneration of retina,the mope-eyed in high degree rhegmatogenous retinal detachment often led to retinal degeneration (P<0.01).It was the effective method to treat rhegmatogenous retinal detachment by surgery .There were 245 eyes have the fisrt success in ophthalmic anatomy in this text ,the rate of success was 85.1%. 32 eyes cure through the operation which had 24 eyes success on the second time and 5 eyes on the third time among the 43 eyes with no success, so the total rate of success was 95.1%.The degree of myopic eyes effect the rates of success,the higher degree were, the lower rates of success by surgery were(P<0.05).The patients of successful rates whose ages were equal or greater than 50(90.3%) were lower than the others(97.4%)(P<0.05).The vision after surgical operation made progresses on 152 eyes(52.9%)and exceeded 0.05 on 106 eyes,there were elevated relative to before ones(P<0.05). The higher degree were, the lower vision after surgical operation were(P<0.01).Conclusion: The morbidity of mope-eyed in high degrees rhegmatogenous retinal detachment increased gradually , The mope-eyed RRD happened to quinquagenarian frequently. There were more haplopores and round breaks in the mope-eyed RRD and distributed temporal and superior temporal usually.The patients of successful rates whose ages were equal or greater than 50(90.3%) were lower than the others(97.4%)(P<0.05). The patients of successful rates whose mope-eyed drgree were high were lower than the others(97.4%)and have lower vision after surgical operation. The mope-eyed rhegmatogenous retinal detachment should pay attention to recover of the visual performance. The mope-eyed persons should examine eyeground carefully and regularly with mydriasis,and increase follow-up times to the zones of retinal degeneration in mope-eyed patients without any obvious symptom.
