ObjectiveDynamic observe cytokeratin 19(CK19) expression in peripheral blood of breast cancer patients.Discuss the expression of CK19 and correlation between prognosis of breast cancer and clinical pathology factor. At the same time, evaluating the feasibility of dynamic detect CK19 expression in peripheral blood in guiding therary, chemotherapy as well as prognosis.MethodRandomly selected pathologically confirmed(including surgical and histological puncture) of 37 patients with breast cancer as experimental group, according to TNM divided into four groups(stageⅠ,Ⅱ,Ⅲ,Ⅳ),detect the expression of CK19 by FCM. For patients with operable breast cancer(stageⅠ,Ⅱ,Ⅲ),we detect the CK19 in the peripheral blood in the preoperative, seven days and three months after postoperative, but stageⅣonly preoperative detection..At the same randomly selected ten cases of benign breast disease patients and ten healthy women as control.Results1.The total posivite rate of expression of CK19 is 29.73%(11/37) in peripheral blood of 37cases of breast cancer before operation:the posivity rate at stageⅠⅡ,Ⅲ,Ⅳwere 0%(0/2),4.76%(1/21),0%(0/4),100%(10/10),respectively.The positive rate of CK19 expression in peripheral blood on the seventh day and third month after operation were 11.11%(3/27) and 7.41%(2/27) respectively, and there was no significant difference all of them. 2.Expression of CK19 in peripheral blood in patients with breast cancer was significantly related with distant metastasis(P<0.05),there was significantly relevance between stageⅣandⅠ,Ⅱ,Ⅲ;There was no relevance with the tumor size, lymph node metastasis,HER-2,ER and PR expression(P>0.05).3.Ten cases of benign breast disease patients and ten healthy women had no expression of CK19 in the peripheral blood.ConclusionsExpression of CK19 in peripheral blood in patients with breast cancer was significantly related with staging of breast cancer, and could be a sensitivite and specific indicator in detection of metastssis.
