Studies On The Chemical Constituents Of Two Medicinal Plants And Intermediate Synthesis

This dissertation is composed of four chapters:chapter one introduces the isolation and purification of compounds with big polarity from Viburnum odoratissimum;chapter two is concerned with the research of chemical components of the hair and underground part of Cibotium barometz.Chapter three deals with the synthesis of some useful immediate compounds;and chapter four is a review on Pd-catalyzed reaction and its mechanism.The roots,bark and leves of Viburnum odoratissimum can be used as Chinese tranditional medicine,with acid and cool nature.According to the tranditional Chinese medicine theory,it has functions of stimulating blood flow and activating the network of vessels,and removing toxic substance and promoting tissue regeneration, and it was used to cure cold,bruises and bone fracture and so on.The preceding sciecntists had contributed lot of their works to the studies of the chemical componets and biological activity of Viburnum odoratissimum,and a lot of valuable compounds especially the iridoids and 11-membered macrocyclic compounds have been isolated and elucidated.Since the reason that the focus of the preceding researcher were in the low-polarity parts of the extracts of Viburnum odoratissimum,we decided to study on its 70%acetone extract.Many 11-membered macrocyclic compounds were discovered,but there is no one glucoside of this kind of compound discovered,we found one 11-membered macrocyclic glucoside in our study.Cibotium barometz is belong to cibotium,appears in the acidic soil in the shadow blow the altitude of 900 meters,can be collected all the year,yet better collected from fall to winter.Its dried roots is called Rhizoma Cibotii in Chinese Tranditional Medicine,is listed in Chinese Pharmacopeia.It has a function of reinforcing liver and kidney,strengthening bones and mascules,stretching veins and arteries,dehumidifing and killing pains and diuresis and is used to cure aching pain of waist and legs,deadlimb,hemiplegia,leucorrhea and spermatorrhoea and profuse uterine bleeding,as well as osteoma,osteosarcoma,intracranial tumor,myelomatosis and bleeding wound and so on.Though the predecessors had mde a lot of research work on the chemical component of Cibotium barometz,the isolated compound is simple in diversity,most of which are fatty acids,pterosin and phenolic compounds,but no new compounds. Our study find out that the 70%acetone extract of Cibotium barometz is very difficult to isolate.The organic synthesis contribute a lot to modern pharmaceutic industry,organic synthesis is a discipline demanding a lot of experimental operations.Because of the time limit and other factors,study can only deal with basic reactions of organic chemistry.This thesis covers 23 reactions with the yield from 90-95%to 30-60%, including group protedtion deprotection,C-chain elongation,and catalized hydrogenation and Micheal reaction and so on.The review tries to give a consise summary to the highlighted parts of modern organic chemistry---Pd-catalized reaction.This review includes 9 categories of commonly used reaction,its mechanism,and its cautions.
