Qinjiao is roots of large leaved gentiana(Gentiana straminea Maxim.) which belongs to Genus Gentiana,Family Gentianaceae.It is genuine medicine of Gansu Province,and also an important traditional Chinese drug with a long history of use for dispelling the wind,relieving rheumatic, eliminating pyretic,stopping numb and pains.Up to now,A systematic and Profound research for G.a.straminea Maxim has not been done except for more research for Gentiana macrophylla Pall.We just has made preliminary research on Chemical Components and the Pharmacologic Activity of Gentiana straminea Maxim.Gentiana macrophylla Pall mainly is been planted in the Northwest china.As the economy development,wild plant resources have been destroyed Seriously.and become serious scarcity.In order to powerfully protect wild plant resources,the research on Chemical Components and the Pharmacologic Activity of Gentiana straminea Maxim become more and more important.The silica gel column chromatography and thin layer chromatography were used to investigate the chemical constituents of alcohol extract of the root of Gentiana straminea Maxim.produced in GanSu.7 compounds were isolated and their structures were identified as uvaol,ursolic acid,β-sitoseteryl-3-O-β-D-glucopyranoside, 2'-(o,m-dihydroxyphenyl phenylglycin)sweroside, ethyl-β-D-glucopyranoside,gentiopicroside, N-pentacosy-1-2-carboxy-benzoylamide by NMR spectral analysis and comparison with authentic compounds.CompoundⅣwas isolated from Gentiana for the first time and compoundsⅤ,ⅥandⅦwere isolated from Gentiana straminea Maxim for the first time.
