Objective To discuss the protective effects of ethanol extractive from Gentianastraminea Maxim. on acute gastric mucosal injury in rats and the mechanism of it. Methods60Wistar rats were randomly divided into the blank group,model group,Chinese medicine controlgroup,Western medicine control group and the Ehanol Extractive from Gentiana stramineaMaxim. low dose group and high dose group.Continuous intragastric (Ig) was administered for7days,by75%alcohol induced acute gastric mucosal injury model rats.Detected the gastricmucosal ulcer index (UI) and the superoxide dismutase (SOD),malondialdehyde(MDA), tumornecrosis factor alpha (TNF-α) level in serum in all the rats, and observered pathology of theinjury gastric mucosa. Results The drug treatment group UI were significantly lower than thoseof model group (P<0.01); low dose group, high dose group and traditional Chinese medicine,western medicine control group, the difference was not statistically significant (P>0.05); tips ofEhanol Extractive from Gentiana straminea Maxim.could reduce the UI of acute gastric mucosalinjury in rats,and Chinese medicine, western medicine control group has equivalent effects.Thedrug treatment group SOD content were higher than that of model group (P<0.01);low dosegroup,high dose group and traditional Chinese medicine, western medicine compared to thecontrol group,the difference was not statistically significant (P>0.05); tips of Ehanol Extractivefrom Gentiana straminea Maxim.alcohol extracts can be elevated of SOD levels on acute gastricmucosal injury in rats,and Chinese medicine,western medicine control group has equivalenteffects.The drug treatment group MDA content was lower than that in the model group (P<0.01);low dose group, high dose group and traditional Chinese medicine,western medicine compared tothe control group,the difference was not statistically significant (P>0.05);tips of the EhanolExtractive from Gentiana straminea Maxim.could reduce the MDA level of on acute gastricmucosal injury in rats, and Chinese medicine,western medicine control group has equivalenteffects.The treatment group was significantly lower than that of TNF-α model group (P<0.05orP<0.01);low dose group, high dose group and traditional Chinese medicine,western medicinecompared to the control group, the difference was not statistically significant (P>0.05);tips of theEhanol Extractive from Gentiana straminea Maxim.could reduce the TNF-α levels of on acutegastric mucosal injury in rats, and Chinese medicine,western medicine control group has equivalent effects.Conclusion Ehanol Extractive from Gentiana straminea Maxim.has protectiveeffects on the gastric mucosal tissues on acute gastric mucosal injury in rats,this effects may berelated to associated with elevated SOD,inhibition of MDA,TNF-α content,Participated in clearoxygen free radicals and reduced the inflammatory reaction.
