Surveillance Report Of HIV/AIDS High Risk Group In Tianjin In 2006 And HIV And Syphilis Epidemic Situation Forecast

Objective: Get timely,accurate and full HIV/AIDS epidemic information and its Prevalence trends through systematically continuous epidemic surveillance, give comments for the prevention policy. In this study our interest was to obtain the danger factors in HIV of CSW, IDU and STD clinic attendees and Propose to give some suggestion for government strategies. To Analyze the Trend of HIV/AIDS and Syphilis Attack From 2000 to 2006 and Forecast Epidemic Tendency from 2007 to 2009 in Tianjin and Provide scientific base for HIV and syphilis control.Materials and Methods: Collect 449 blood samples in drug-relief reformatory , 449 CSWs in penitentiary and 8826 STD clinic attendees in 45 STD OPDs in 2006 with face to face questionnaire. First make twice preliminary screening HIV test, then make WB test to affirmation if positive. Make RPR and TPPA for syphilis test. HIV/AIDS and Syphilis data from 2000 to 2006 were collected and analyzed and forecast epidemic logical tendency of HIV and syphilis from 2007 to 2009 in Tianjin with GM (1,1).All data were indicated by EPIDATA, Statistical soft were used SPSS11.5.Results: In drug users ,the infection ratio of HIV was 2.00 % , the infection ratio of syphilis was 2.44 % , 66.36 % of them used injectors , 16.48% had sexual behavior with multi - partner ,21.14 % share injectors of the IDUs; In CSWs , the infection ratio was 0.45% , 50.56 % of them never or sometimes used condoms ; In clinic STD Patients , the HIV infection ratio was 0.24%, 55.90 % of them had Un-marriage sexual intercourse; the incidence of HIV and Syphilis increased from 2001 to 2006 and would be rising three years in the future. Conclusion: High- risk behavior is common among many high risk people; In the high risk people , the rate of condom usage is very low, and the STD prevalence is higher than common; Pay attention to the high proportion of female drug users and drug users in unlicensed prostitute, and take notice of transmitted danger by STD clinic attendees; It is vital for the government to reinforce effective measures like establishing perfect surveillance system and enhancing integrated prevention to control the epidemic of HIV and syphilis; There are many risk factors in those high risk people , and the correspond prevention should be strengthened.
