Objective: To compare the clinical applied effective of on-pump and off-pump coronary artery bypass grafting (CABG).Methods: The patients underwent on-pump CABG and off-pump CABG from September 1999 to December 2006 in this department were divided into two groups. And to analyse the preoperative and postoperative clinical information. to analyse the postoperative complication. Results: The preoperative clinical informations were no significantly different between two groups. There were 5 complicated patients in off-pump group and 21 complicated patients in on-pump group. There were 4 dead patients in off-pump group and 10 dead patients in on-pump group. Conclusions: In left bole and many pathological blood vessels there were no significantly different on revascularization in two groups. The rate of death and complication of off-pump group are lower than the on-pump group. But when the patients have valvular heart disease or severe three pathological blood vessels or vntricular aneurysm, on-pump coronary artery bypass grafting (CABG) is better. off-pump coronary artery bypass grafting (CABG) can not replace on-pump coronary artery bypass grafting (CABG).
