| Objective: To optimize the conditions of the formula Herbae Artemisiae Capillariae Decoction by semi-bionic extraction and further verifying the correctness and practicality of semi-bionic extraction(SBE).Method: First, optimize the best extraction conditions of the semi-bionic extraction for Herbae Artemisiae Capillariae Decoction with rheum emodin,chrysophanic acid, jasminoidin, caffeotannic acid, the total integral area by HPLC, dried extract weight as the indexes. Then, with the indexes mentioned above, optimize the best combination and the alcohol precipitation concentration. Subsequently, optimize the best concentration of the alcohol extraction for Herbae Artemisiae Capillariae Decoction while the other extraction conditions were the same as the semi-bionic extraction. According to the former conditions, the five kinds of extract methods, including the semi-bionic extraction (SBE), the water extraction (WE), the semi-bionic extraction by precipitation with alcohol (SBAE), the water extraction by precipitation with alcohol (WAE) and the alcohol extraction (AE) were compared by the contents of the index ingredients and by the fingerprinting of the rabbit's blood serum.Result:The technological conditions of the semi-bionic extraction for Herbae Artemisiae Capillariae Decoction is pH in turn:2.50,6.50,8.00; Time:60min, 30min, 30min.The mixture is the better combination mode. The sequence of total index Y value of the five extraction technology is:YSBE> YWE >YAE >YSBAE >YWAE; the HPLC fingerprinting of the rabbit blood serum show that the SBE decoction's metabolic rate is more rapid than the WE decoction in vivo,SBE is easier to be absorbed than WE in the human body.Conclusion: SBE method is the best among the five methods in the extraction of components of the formula Herbae Artemisiae Capillariae Decoction. The study firmly verifies that SBE method is correct and practical and provides some experiences for the formula's further study.
