Experimental Study On Curative Effect And Mechanism Of Qingyang Decoction On Mice Infected With Influenza Virus

Backgrounds:For the past few years,the incidence of the viral pneumonia was rising around the world.It has been without ideal antiviral drug for the modern medicine yet.There is some superiority of Traditional Chinese Medicine(TCM) curing viral pneumonia in clinic,while it has been short of perfect Chinese drugs preparation.Therefore exploring active Chinese patent medicine and the mechanism of it to treat VP is of great significance.Objective:To investigate the antiviral effect and mechanism of Qingyang decoction in mouse with pneumonia induced by influenza virus.Methods:96 rats of the BALB/C species were randomly divided into the controlled,model, Qingyang decoction and Ribovirin injection groups(24/group).Then divided into three small ones by the difference of infected days(8/group).All the rats of viral pneumonia model were replicated by dribbling nose with Influenzavirus(FM1),except for the controlled group.Rats of the two treat groups were respectively fed with Qingyang decoction,Ribovirin injection from day 1 to day 5.The rats were killed at the day 1,3,5.Tumor necrosis factor-α(TNF-α), Interleukin-10(IL-10) in rats lung tissue,Interferon-γ(IFN-γ),Interleukin-4(IL-4)in rats plasma, all were assayed by radio-immunity.Pathological change of respiratory organs was observed under optical microscope.Results:Tumor necrosis factor-α(TNF-α),Interleukin-4(IL-4)of the model group compared with controlled group increased significantly,and Interleukin-10(IL-10) interferon-γ(IFN-γ) degraded notablely too.Qingyang decoction can remarkably increase the abnormally low level of IFN-γ,IL-10,reduce the abnormally high level of TNF-α,IL-4.Conclusions:Deficiency of Qi and Yin,toxic,phlegm block and blood stasis are basic etiopathogenisis and pathogenesis of VP.Heat-clearing and detoxicating,supplementing Qi and nourishing Yin,removing toxic material phlegm blockd and blood stasis are important treatment principal of VP.Qingyang decoction may reduce the immunopathological injury caused by virus through regulating the expressing level of cytokine and balancing the immune state of the body.It's possible the one mechanism for Qingyang decoction to anti-influenza virus by improving the ability of the organism.It is an effective decoction of treatment on VP.
